The second largest ski area in the world

Montchavin-Les Coches is part of the La Plagne ski area, which extends from 1250 to 3250 meters above sea level and includes 10 resorts, for 10 atmospheres. It is one of the largest and most varied playgrounds in the world: between glaciers, forests and powder fields, you can ski in a diverse environment located 70% above above 2000 meters of altitude (which guarantees excellent snow cover) and offering incredible panoramas over Mont Blanc and the French Alps.

It has 136 runs (225 km) for all levels: while experienced skiers can indulge in the joys of intense skiing on the 19 black runs and 34 red runs >, beginners and families will have access to a reassuring and pleasant skiing experience thanks to the area's 74 blue runs and 9 green runs. 77 ski lifts (in addition to the Vanoise-Express cable car, used to get to Les Arcs) serve the slopes of the resort, which also offers a snowpark, a fun slope , 3 boardercross, 2 themed runs, 1 toboggan run and 2 big airbags.

La Plagne is also an area located in the heart of Paradiski, the 2nd largest connected ski area in the world, made up of Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne. Aimed at ski enthusiasts of all levels, this spectacular area stretching from 1200 to 3250 meters above sea level, has no less than 425 km of slopes served by 130 ski lifts.

The area will delight both the most seasoned (79 red runs and 36 black runs) and the less experienced (137 blue runs, 12 green runs). It also includes 2 snowparks, 5 boardercross, 3 big airbags, 3 toboggan runs, 1 waterslide, 1 filmed slalom, 1 chronospeed and 1 air tubing.

It is clear that you will not have time to get bored! In addition to all these fun areas, there are multiple off-ski activities, there is something for everyone: adrenaline junkies (snow quad biking, snowmobiling, paragliding, giant zip line, bobsleigh, etc.), families (snake gliss, tobogganing…) as well as Zen spirits (body care, hikes, massages…).
